- Automated Marker Allocation
REACH Cut Planner automatically
generates optimal combination of markers for the given
order quantity and size ratio.
Misjudgments in making size combination are the
most common and the most expensive.
Buyers do not accept order assortments cut in the
wrong ratio. In such cases the manufacturing firm
has to undertake painful exercises of size corrections
in the sewing lines.
- Automated Plies Allocation
Precise number of plies for the
generated markers are given by REACH Cut Planner considering
the maximum number allowed under constraints (constraints
of fabric characteristics, equipment, etc.)
Cutting the wrong fabric for a given marker or
cutting incorrect number of plies, can lead to non-confirmation
to specifications with respect to the original assortment.
Fabric received in the apparel industry is generally
in various shades and widths. REACH Cut Planner
easily incorporates these variations and maintains
size ratio for various shades.
- Automated Spread Planning
This module of the REACH Cut Planner
works on capacity of the cutting room. It works on
the relationship between the table length and lay
length. The ideal number of lays per marker per table
is calculated automatically.
Selecting the right table for a given lay length,
or the optimal number of repeats of markers per
table, is critical to use capacity and time available.
Often there is pressure on the cutters to speed
up cutting so as feed the sewing lines, whereas
much fire-fighting could been avoided by scientific
spread planning.
- Automated Rolls Allocation
REACH Cut Planner generates the FINAL LAY SLIP,
which the spreader uses. The lay slip tells the spreader
precise details of the number of plies to be cut from
which rolls for the given markers.
The usual practice in the cutting rooms is to pick
up the nearest roll and start spreading.
The result is that a lot of remnants are generated.
To use these remnants, insufficient markers are
then generated. The Automated Rolls Allocation module
of the REACH Cut Planner aims at minimizing end
bits and guarantees substantial fabric savings.
- Fabric Reconciliation
This module of REACH Cut Planner captures real time data, compares, analyses and gives detailed report of actual fabric usage against planned, calculated fabric usage enabling order-wise profitability analysis.
Fabric Reconciliation module enables Cutting Room Managers to drill down and know where and why fabric is used and know where and why fabric is wasted/lost
